Than or Then?

Have you ever confused ‘than’ with ‘then?’ If your answer is affirmative, please read on.

In fact, ‘than’ is used to make comparisons.

For example: “The pen is mightier than the sword.”

On the other hand, ‘then’ means ‘at that time’ or ‘next.’

For example: “Jack had breakfast, and then he left for work.”
