Play-on-Words and Slang

‘Hangry,” which is a play on the words ‘angry’ and ‘hungry,’ is a slang terms that’s used as an adjective to express that somebody is angry because he or she is really hungry.

“Feels” is slang for feelings and used primarily by the millenials or people born between 1981 and 1996.

 “To have beef” is slang for having arguments and disagreements with somebody.

“Photobomb” – ruin somebody’s photo by making a funny face or doing some other ridiculous yet harmless act.

Delish” – super tasty. It’s a play on the words ”relish” and “delicious.”

 “Dunno” – slang for “don’t know”

“Whaddya” – slang for “what do you”

“Gonna” – slang for going to

“Gotta” – slang for “have got to”
