Example: I usually surf the net in the evenings.

A silver surfer – an older person

Example: My grandpa is a silver surfer who’s really good at using new technology and the Internet.

Google something – to research something via Google’s search engine

Example: I need to Google the weather forecast.

Cutting edge – at the forefront; most advanced

Example: Rogers Communications’ 5G network is cutting edge.

Clicks and mortar – a traditional business that also has an online store

Example: Best Buy is a clicks and mortar business.

A computer nerd – somebody who knows and thinks a lot about computers

Example: I’ll ask my friend, a real computer nerd to fix my computer.

A mouse potato – a person who spends too much time on the computer

Example: I’ve become such a mouse potato recently.
